The 4-Star Holiday Apartment with Home Cinema, Private Garden & Sauna
The Cinema Holiday Apartment is located in the former village school of Forst (Eifel), beautifully situated between the village church and the former rectory. It offers approximately 105 m² (1,130 sq ft) of living space and a private garden of around 360 m² (3,875 sq ft), exclusively for your use, featuring a sauna*, heated outdoor shower and barbecue area.
Inside the fully renovated apartment, you will find, among other things, a bedroom (approx. 14 m² / 150 sq ft) with a double bed (180 × 200 cm), as well as a spacious bathroom (approx. 9 m² / 97 sq ft) with a walk-in shower, a large corner bathtub for two people, and a washing machine.
The open-plan layout combines a fully equipped kitchen (approx. 15 m² / 161 sq ft) with a spacious dining and living area (approx. 66 m² / 710 sq ft). A special highlight is the private home cinema with a 110-inch projection screen, a 4K HDR laser projector, a powerful Teufel 5.1 surround sound system, and a private library with more than 1,000 books.
The entire apartment is equipped with underfloor heating and free Wi-Fi. The lighting throughout the apartment can be adjusted via remote control, allowing you to choose between warm white lighting and fully customisable RGB colours. The bedroom is fitted with an electric roller shutter. All windows have pleated blinds, while one bedroom window and two living room windows are additionally fitted with insect screens.
For your safety, every room is equipped with smoke and heat detectors. A fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector (CO detector), battery-powered emergency lighting, and a first-aid kit complete the apartment’s safety features. In addition, all electrical outlets are fitted with integrated child safety protection.
The apartment has been designed to be especially allergy-friendly and is equipped with a modern ventilation system. A mobile air purifier is also available if required. To maintain this standard, pets and smoking are not permitted inside the apartment.
From the living area, you have direct access to the spacious, fully fenced private garden with its own sauna, heated outdoor shower, seating area, sun loungers, and barbecue facilities, all exclusively for your use. Younger guests can also enjoy a swing and a sandbox.
The sauna* and heated outdoor shower are carefully screened to ensure complete privacy from neighbouring properties.
Private parking is available in the courtyard, along with the option to charge an electric vehicle and securely store bicycles. Explore the surrounding area on foot, by using the complimentary bicycles provided (one men’s bike and one women’s bike, with a bicycle child seat available on request), or by car.
The apartment is officially registered and licensed as a holiday accommodation. On 18 September 2024, it was inspected by the German Tourism Association (DTV) and awarded an official 4-star classification (based on occupancy by two guests) in recognition of its facilities and level of service.
The apartment is ideally designed for two guests, with one bedroom featuring a double bed. However, two additional guests can comfortably sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. A baby cot is available free of charge upon request.
